El 15 de junio, el 18 'Shangai TV Festival' celebró sus premios y ceremonia de clausura donde Jung Il Woo asistió como invitado especial. "La luna que abarca el Sol, que finalizó su emisión en Corea en marzo, se alzó con una victoria de plata en la categoría de drama internacional. Como uno de los papeles principales del drama, Jung Il Woo dirigió al escenario para recibir el trofeo en nombre de su elenco y el personal.
El 'Shanghai TV Festival se inició en 1988 y es uno de los mayores festivales de televisión de China.

Actor Jung Il Woo proudly accepted a trophy at the 18th ‘Shanghai TV Festival‘ awards ceremony for his drama, ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun‘!
On June 15th, the 18th ‘Shanghai TV Festival’ held its awards and closing ceremony where Jung Il Woo attended as a special invitee. ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun’, which ended its broadcast in Korea in March, came away with a silver win in the international drama category. As one of the leading roles of the drama, Jung Il Woo headed up to the stage to accept the trophy on behalf of his cast and staff.
The ‘Shanghai TV Festival’ was launched in 1988 and is one of the biggest TV festivals in China.
Jung Il Woo has already built up a fan base in China thanks to his past hits like ‘49 Days‘ and ‘Flower Boy Ramen Shop‘ so this is just another notch to add to his list of many accomplishments as a budding Hallyu star.
