Kaneshiro Takeshi’s niece, U, acts as a cool lady general in her CM debut in Japan

U, the niece of actor Kaneshiro Takeshi, has been active as a talent in Taiwan. She recently had her first CM debut in Japan as a lady general in the CM for Mobage’s social game “Daisenran!! Sangokushi Battle (=The Great War!! Battle of the Three Kingdoms)”.  She commented, “I had a great time filming my first CM in Japan. I’m very happy to dress up for a cool role and wear a costume with a lot of punch.”

The game allows users to form their original team by choosing their members from all the characters in “Three Kingdoms”. Users then battle with other users in the country in real time.

In a scene of the CM, U acts as a female general overlooking the battle from a tall building. She remarked as she recollected about the scene, “My uncle, Kaneshiro Takeshi, acted as a general before. While his role was a gentle male general, I think I managed to portray a powerful female general for my role.”

U plans to base her activities in Japan from now on. Following her CM debut, she will also be appearing in fashion show “TOKYO RUNWAY” in September and magazine “Larme”.
